What would you do if you only had a day to live?

Hmmm…. Well first I would do all the obvious things. Spend time with my friends and family, tell everyone I love them, etc. 

Then I would call John Mayer and Justin Bieber and ask them to put on a concert for me and my friends. We would all be on the first rows and they would bring me on stage and sing to me. More than likely, they would both also kiss me. But not because I was dying. Because they would both fall in love with me. J Biebs would also sing “One Less Lonely Girl” to my friend, Katelyn Bowling. Because I know that would make her happier than she’s ever been and in return, I would be happier than I’ve ever been by fulfilling her heart’s desire.

A little late, but here we go.. 

Tell about the best friends you’ve had for the longest.

Up until seventh grade, I was friends with a group of girls. Their names were Kayla, Kayla, Ashley and Ashley… And then there was me, Meg. I guess you could say I never really fit in with them from the start. These girls were very catty. They argued and bickered constantly and I was often finding myself being shoved into the middle of their fights. It didn’t take long for me to become very tired of the way they acted. Enough was enough. One day during break, I stood up from my seat where my “best friends” sat arguing and walked over to two other girls in my grade and simply asked, “Can I be your new best friend?” Thankfully they said yes, because seven years and many, many memories later, Emily and Leah have both changed my life in more ways than I thought possible. 

Emily got married right out of high school. Even though she has started her own life now and quickly grew into an adult, she will always be considered one of the best friends I’ve ever had. 

I hated Leah up until that day in seventh grade. I think it was because of a grudge I had held against her since kindergarten when she could color in between the lines and I couldn’t. But I met my soul mate that day. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I don’t think I could live without her. 

When I was a young child, my brother tried to drown me in our pool. You would think that a near death experience caused by a sibling would cause enough hatred for a lifetime. And you’d be right. But through the years, my brother, Elijah and I have grown into the best of friends. He’s one of my favorite people in the world and I would do anything for him. Even give him my kidney if I had to. 

I’ve had many close friends throughout my life, but these are the three that I would consider my very best that I’ve had for the longest. I am so thankful that God put these people and others in my life. I am truly blessed. 

15 Facts About Myself

1. I’m absolutely terrified of ladybugs. They pee on you and it smells really bad.

2. I was slimed on SlimeTime Live.

3. I have Bieber Fever and I’m not ashamed of it.

4. I’ve been to Alaska twice and I would almost rather go on vacation there than the beach. Almost.

5. My tall, lanky red-headed brother is one of my best friends. He also owes me a minimum of $358. 

6. I wish I was 2 inches shorter. 

7. The best day of my life so far was spent in New York City with my two best friends. 

8. I’ve seen every episode of Friends at least 4 times.

9. On average, I sleep about 18 hours a day. Sometimes, I hibernate. Like a bear. Just call me Ole Hibernating Bear Posey.

10. I’m fascinated by tattoos.

11. Moving 2 and a half hours away from home is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself. 

12. I’ll be attending the Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block concert this summer and I couldn’t be more excited. Except maybe if J Biebs asked me on a date. Then I’d be really really excited. 

13. Favorite color? Black.

14. I love Chick fil A sauce so much I could drink it out of a cup.

15. Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. Duke Blue Devil basketball fan.
